申請書想讓 .ver 底下每個註冊者都是驗證過的組織或個人：註冊前審核資格，之後定期重驗，讓使用者從網址就能判斷對方身分，減少冒名和身分詐騙。後綴由荷蘭非營利基金會負責經營。

The mission of the applied-for gTLD is to provide a namespace in which every registrant is a verified organization or individual. Registration is subject to eligibility verification and periodic re-verification under a published registration policy. The purpose is to give internet users, businesses, and institutions a reliable signal of registrant identity at the domain level, supporting trust, accountability, and the reduction of impersonation and identity-related abuse. The registry is operated under the responsibility of Stichting Verifieerbaar Internet, a Dutch non-profit foundation whose statutory objects safeguard the continuity, integrity, and public-interest mission of the top-level domains it holds.
