The mission of .GET is to provide a namespace associated with the applied-for string. The .GET gTLD is intended to serve a broad range of registrants and users, including individuals, businesses, organizations, communities, projects, and other entities that identify with, relate to, or wish to be associated with the concept represented by the applied-for string.
The purpose of .GET is to enable registrants to establish online identities using domain names that correspond to this concept. To achieve this purpose, Berth Order, LLC will make .GET available for registration through registrars and other appropriate distribution channels; maintain a secure, stable, and reliable registry infrastructure; implement registration and operational policies that support the availability, security, and integrity of the namespace; and provide ongoing administration of the gTLD to enable registrants to register and use domain names within the namespace.
The purpose of .GET is sustainable over time because the applied-for string is broadly recognized and has broad applicability across a wide range of contexts. As society, technology, and methods of communication evolve, organizations and individuals will continue to establish online identities associated with the applied-for string.
The proposed .get top-level domain represents the broad, everyday act of getting anything - downloading an app, picking up an order, requesting information, claiming an offer, or acquiring a product or service. It is among the most common verbs in English and appears constantly in ordinary calls to action.
Intercap Registry proposes to operate .get as an open namespace, available for registration by the general public without restriction.
Intended registrants include individuals, businesses, and organizations of all kinds that offer something for others to obtain - products, downloads, information, or services. Intended users are members of the general public looking to obtain them.
Intercap Registry will make .get names available worldwide through ICANN-accredited registrars, promote awareness and adoption of the namespace, publish its registration policies ahead of launch, operate the TLD openly, respond promptly to reports of abuse, and comply with applicable safeguards.
Demand for this category is sustainable: offering something and inviting people to get it is a standing pattern for websites, businesses, and organizations across every sector, and is not tied to any trend, technology, or single company.
Link Freedom Group (LFG) aspires to become a best-in-class, vertically integrated domain name registration authority, see linkfreedomgroup.link. This TLD is part of a carefully curated portfolio of strings that LFG intends to pursue in ICANN’s 2026 New gTLD Program. In assembling this portfolio, LFG focused on securing meaningful, memorable, and commercially compelling strings that resonate strongly with end users and offer long-term growth potential.
Over the past four years, LFG (Nova Registry) has successfully grown its flagship TLD, .LINK, from approximately 125,000 to more than 300,000 domains under management. This growth has been driven by innovative distribution strategies, the expansion of registrar partnerships, and a granular pricing model that has enabled .LINK to remain competitively priced while avoiding the significant fee increases implemented by some other registry operators.
LFG’s experience in the domain name industry has reinforced one of the key lessons from the 2012 application round: long-term sustainability is strengthened through portfolio diversification. By spreading operational costs and mitigating revenue fluctuations across multiple TLDs, LFG is better positioned to withstand market volatility and invest in continued growth. Accordingly, LFG believes that even obtaining a subset of the TLDs for which it has applied will establish a diversified portfolio capable of supporting long-term economic stability, operational resilience, and sustainable growth.
The mission of .get is to provide an action-oriented namespace for commerce, downloads, services, information, customer acquisition and memorable calls to action.
The mission of .get is to give businesses a short address formarketing and commericla use. The string is the ordinary English verb ""get"" - to obtain, acquire or receive. It is applied for and will be operated in that plain descriptive sense, as an open namespace.
Registrants are businesses, independent workers and small teams that need to point people at one specific thing: a shop running a seasonal offer, a service business with a booking page, a subscription or membership scheme, an event organiser selling tickets, an app or tool publisher pointing at a download, a trainer or consultant offering a first session, and the agencies and freelancers who build campaign pages on their behalf. Larger organisations wanting a short address for a single offer are welcome on the same published terms.
Users are the people who follow those addresses from a poster, a radio spot, a package insert, a business card, a message or a social profile.
An offer is almost always announced somewhere the address cannot be clicked. It is spoken aloud, printed on a flyer, put on a vehicle, printed on a receipt or written on a whiteboard. What that address has to be is short enough to remember between hearing it and typing it, and clear enough that the reader knows an action is expected.
The TLD will launch with the rights protection mechanisms required by Specification 7, including a Sunrise period and a Trademark Claims period. General Availability will then be open, with no eligibility restrictions and no reservation of the namespace to the applying entity or its affiliates. Distribution will be through ICANN-accredited registrars on published, non-discriminatory terms consistent with Specification 9, including any affiliated registrar, which will receive the same terms as every other. Technical operation is contracted to a pre-evaluated Registry Service Provider, and abuse mitigation follows the Mandatory Public Interest Commitments and the DNS abuse obligations of the Base Registry Agreement, with a published abuse point of contact.
Promotion is a permanent function of commerce rather than a phase of it: small businesses announce offers continuously, and each announcement needs an address, so demand is recurring rather than one-off. Addresses of this kind are also printed and spoken, which is what drives renewal - material already distributed keeps sending people to a name, so letting it lapse discards traffic that is still arriving. The verb is among the most common in English and is widely understood beyond first-language markets, which keeps the addressable population broad rather than confined to one region, and it belongs to no vendor, sector or platform. The applying entity belongs to an established hosting group with a direct channel to the small businesses concerned, so awareness does not rest on paid acquisition alone, and registry operations are contracted to a pre-evaluated Registry Service Provider under a signed agreement, so the obligations of the Registry Agreement are met throughout ramp-up without depending on registration revenue alone.
