Exchange Point Institute proposes to operate .tiny as a fully open, generic top-level domain. There are no eligibility restrictions and no registration policies limiting who may register a .tiny domain or how it may be used, beyond the standard terms of the Registry Agreement and ICANN's Consensus Policies. "Tiny" is a common English word with no fixed industry or community association, which makes it broadly usable. Registrants are expected to include individuals, small businesses, hobby projects, product pages, and anyone else looking for a short, plain-language domain name. The registry will be funded through standard registration and renewal fees, the same model used across the existing gTLD market. This gives .tiny a straightforward path to covering its operating costs and remaining sustainable over time, since it does not depend on any single audience or use case to succeed.
