.clone

The mission and purpose of .clone is to establish a stable, secure, and trusted namespace that supports legitimate uses of the term “clone” and related concepts. The applied-for gTLD is intended to enhance discoverability and digital identity while providing a meaningful namespace for organizations, businesses, researchers, educational institutions, and individuals engaged in or associated with cloning, replication, duplication, interoperability, digital identities, software and technology, creative works, and related activities. The applied-for gTLD is sustainable because the term has broad and continuing relevance across technology, software, digital services, research, creative activities, and other legitimate Internet uses. The gTLD is not dependent on a single industry, technology, or business model and can accommodate evolving uses as technology and Internet activity develop.
