申請書說要把華碩品牌放上網域最上層，使用者看到 .asus 就知道是華碩官方網站，比較不會被假網站騙。另外兩個目的：讓人更容易找到華碩與關係企業的產品和服務資訊，以及給子公司、供應商、客戶與員工一個可信的網路識別。

The mission and purpose of <.ASUS> TLD is to benefit internet users by ensuring increased trust and confidence through the assurance of brand authenticity:
• Reflect and operate Applicant’s key and most distinctive brand at the top level of the DNS’ hierarchy;
• create a connected digital presence and personalized brand experience
• simplify Internet user navigation to information about Applicant and affiliated entity products and services
• Provide stakeholders of the Applicant, including subsidiaries, and their respective suppliers, customers, sponsorships, and their respective directors, officers, employees, with an authentic, secure and trusted identifier on the Internet;
This mission will enable the Applicant to build brand loyalty, protect consumers, partners and employees, in order to meet future customer expectations and competitive market demands.
